The Sask Press began with a simple idea to create an online space where contributors could share a variety of creative nonfiction work. My aim has always been to invite writers, photographers, and all types of makers to create work at a pace that allows for them to dive deeply into the telling of their stories.

As the editor of this publication, my intention is to shine a light on the types of pieces you may not find anywhere else. It is here that we tell stories from the heart. Our writers are real, honest, and raw. Most importantly, we all have fun doing what we do.

Our contributors are compelled to bring the truth to the forefront in order to stimulate critical thought, ignite conversation, transform ideas, and make a difference in our communities. We envision building a community of readers who trusts our journalists – a community who knows that our organization places an emphasis on integrity, on pure intention.
